Taormina: A Passeggiata in Corso Umberto

Never got tired of walking through Corso Umberto. This is the main street of Taormina after all.

The street is always eager to please and surprise with its sights, sounds, shops, and life.

Corso Umberto is stretching for about one kilometer through the old Medieval town from one ancient gateway to another. From Piazza San Antonio to Piazza Vittorio Emanuelle II.

It’s a meeting place for the locals too. This is the road they choose to stroll, chat on, and be seen. Unavoidably mixing with the rich and famous quite regularly.

Corso Umberto and its side roads offer a great choice of bars and restaurants.
