It primarily covers Greece and Italy, with additional coverage of Croatia, Egypt, France, Morocco, Spain, and Turkey. The focus throughout is the same: the Mediterranean as a place worth understanding, not just visiting.
The writing comes from our team, with roughly 40 years of collective experience working in and traveling around the region, mostly in hospitality. That background shapes the editorial approach here: practical, honest, and grounded in repeated visits rather than press trips.
What this Site Covers
The main areas are destination guides, cultural essays, foodways, and “The Verdict”, a short-form opinion format covering destinations, restaurants, hotels, shops, museums, and more: direct, no hero image, no hedging. If you want to know whether somewhere is worth your time and money, “The Verdict” will tell you.
Recipes appear when they come with enough context to warrant your attention: a dish tied to a specific place, or a technique that explains how a region eats.
