One of the easiest Greek destinations to reach from anywhere in the world with direct flights to Athens. Like every other metropolis, is full of decorations since early December and the Christmas spirit is making its statement while setting the mood for joy and happiness. For a combination of sightseeing and relaxation, you can choose a hotel in the heart of the city around Syntagma square or somewhere around Plaka. Another easily reachable destination from all over Europe and not only is Thessaloniki. The co-capital city of Greece is known to the world for its quality of life, food, and entertainment. Thessaloniki’s city center is by the sea. And even if there is the occasional snow, Christmas in Thessaloniki is magical.
