Look, the humans and I have an understanding. They provide the chin scratches and the fancy salmon mousse, and I, in my infinite feline wisdom, bestow upon them the privilege of existing in my presence. Lately, however, this delicate balance has been disrupted by their obsession with their “In Love with the Med” blog.

Now, the Med itself is perfectly acceptable – sunbeams dance on the water, plump pigeons waddle by begging to be chased, the occasional stray fish washes ashore – it has its merits. But clearly, their blog needs a serious overhaul, and who better to provide guidance than yours truly?
Operation: Blog Makeover commenced.
Step one: The Interrupted Interview.
They were attempting some ridiculous interview with a local fisherman – all blather about “the bounty of the sea” and “ancient fishing traditions.” Boring! A strategically placed swat at the microphone (followed by a dash of adorable bewilderment) sent the poor man scurrying. Much better. The blog needed pizazz, feline pizazz!
Step two: The Artful Paw Print.
Their latest post droned on about “hidden coves” and “secluded beaches.” Amateur hour. A well-timed jump onto the laptop ensured a perfectly placed paw print right across the pristine white page. A message, clear as day: more cat content, humans! The internet craves feline cuteness, not geographical descriptions.
Step three: The Nap Demonstration.
They were lost in a heated debate about “capturing the essence of the Mediterranean lifestyle.” Simpletons. I curled up majestically on the keyboard, completely blocking their view. Need I spell it out any clearer? The essence of the Mediterranean life is naps, glorious, sun-drenched naps.
My efforts, of course, are a resounding success. “In Love with the Med” will be taking a sharp turn towards the feline fantastic. Hilarious anecdotes about my daily exploits, heartwarming pictures of me napping in various sunbeams, even a guest post titled “How to Train Your Humans for Maximum Chin Scratches” (by yours truly, of course) will be up for grabs soon.

My Humans Think They Run In Love with the Med
As for the Mediterranean, well, it will still feature in the background of some photos (it does make for a stunning backdrop, I’ll give them that). But the true star of the blog?
Me, obviously. And who can argue with that? After all, the internet clearly agrees – there’s nothing quite as captivating as a discerning feline living life to the fullest in the heart of the glorious Mediterranean.
Signing off, for now… but only because important naps beckon. Rest assured, humans, my return will be heralded by the clatter of keyboard keys, the strategically placed hairball, and the ever-present demand for chin scratches.
Until then, they are welcome to try and continue their “In Love with the Med” project without the guiding paw of feline fabulousness. But hey, don’t be surprised if the internet responds with a resounding “meh” in my absence.
