Villa Passalacqua is unique. A palazzo built in 1700 that retains till today the grandeur of its noble past. A residence steeped in history and legend. A mansion that offers the opportunity to its guests and visitors to enjoy a historic stay and indulge themselves at the exact same rooms where Bellini composed his famous operas “Norma”, “La Sonnambula” (The SleepWalker) and “La Straniera” (The Stranger). Or even be entertained in the very same rooms that once hosted Napoleon Bonaparte and Winston Churchill!
Villa Passalacqua stands imposing amongst extensive fragrant grounds while Lake Como is dominating the scene as well.
The Villa is enormous and is spread is several levels offering limitless options for formal entertaining and casual relaxation. In the interiors boast 9 bedroom suites of approximately 130 square meters each, formal dining and living areas, a music room, a billiard room, a cinema room, two children playrooms, a fully equipped home office, and of course a chef’s kitchen.
In the exteriors the manicured gardens and the lengthy swimming pool all set in a gorgeous environment with the swimming terrace surrounded by lemon and olive trees offering breathtaking lake views and a lovely feeling. Furthermore, in the exteriors, there is a greenhouse where special dinners can take place and for our little guests a children playground that is very close to the kitchen.
Villa Passalacqua is a pure joy for the bon-vivant and cognoscente and along with the guest house known as Villa Bellini can host up to 34 guests.
Location wise the villa is just 20 minutes from the centre of the city of Como and can be reached by boat or by car.
Villa Passalacqua is available for destination weddings, special private events, and we surely believe an ideal choice for corporate retreats.
