Syvota, a heavenly place in Epirus, Greece

Syvota or Mourtos is part of the coast of the region of Epirus! It is an area with spectacular scenery. A combination of impressive colours! A feeling of extreme peace and beauty… A sea with unique azure colour and sparkling waters inviting even the more reluctant to dive and enjoy it… An area with white sandy beaches spread around the tiny gulfs and the uninhabited islets… A blessed nature!

Located just on the south tip of the prefecture of Thesprotia in Epirus, Syvota is just a heavenly place.

An ideal destination for a stopover while sailing around the Ionian Sea or even for a long relaxing vacation all summer long.

And while in the area just don’t miss the famous “Piscina” (Swimming Pool) and “Bella Vraka” beaches. Bella Vraka Beach is located on the islet of Mourtemeno and is reachable from Syvota via a walk through shallow water.

Syvota is easily reachable from Parga, Paxoi, Ioannina, Lefkada and even Corfu as long as you don’t mind the almost 2 hours boat ride per way…
